“That I may make the voice of thanksgiving heard and may tell of all your wondrous works.” Psalm 26:7 (Amplified)
This verse seems self explanatory, and when things are going great it is. When things go wrong though, or we get bad news, then can we say, make me the voice of thanksgiving? It’s easy to have faith when all is right, but our faith has to be strengthened like a muscle in your body. The true test of faith is giving thanks when times get rough. I believe there is always something in any situation that we can be thankful for. You may have lost your job, but you still have your life. You may be ill, but you are still here. You may have lost your home, but your family is safe. You may have lost a loved one, but all your other loved ones are still with you.
Faith is trusting God through the good and the bad, believing that as we trust Him according to His Word in Romans 8:28, “all things work together for good to those who love the Lord.”
