“Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name and those attributes which that name denotes.” 1 Chronicles 29:13
The month of November is best known for the Thanksgiving holiday. Sometimes we get caught up in the plans leading to that day, with family gatherings and meals to prepare. Like Christmas though, we need to remember the reason for the season, so slow down and give some extra thought on all you have to be thankful for.
Today’s verse gives praise to God, that’s the best place to start in our thanks giving, but it also says “and those attributes which that name denotes”. Let’s give that some thought too. What is your first thought of being thankful for those attributes of God?
