A Christian Journey

Wait All The Day Long

“Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You only and altogether do I wait expectantly all the day long.”    Psalm 25:5

It seems we wait a lot in our lives, though things move faster today than they did even 10 years ago.  It feels like the faster things move the longer our waits become.

When we are waiting on God to guide us in our life through trials to see what path He would have us take, what do we do?  Do we sit in our rocking chair, church pew, living room sofa, even on our knees?  I believe God us to wait on Him, that we become the server.  Like a waitress who takes your order at a restaurant, we are to take our orders from God.  Become a server to God through serving others as you wait.

We all like to get good service when other people wait on us. What kind of service do you give?
