“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us – they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.” Romans 5:3-4
We don’t think of faith as being our strength, most of us don’t think our faith is very strong at all. This verse explains that your faith is like a muscle, every time you use it, it gets stronger. That is one of the reasons for trials and problems, to help us learn patience and strengthen our faith. We can rejoice in trials because it brings us closer to God and gives us stability in our life.
